Singergy Reigate was born just a year before Covid started and they have gone from strength to strength. Led by Lou they are a smaller choir but this doesn’t make them any less mighty! For a smaller choir they make a big noise and their one-off arrangements of popular songs are something to behold. Like a noisy family the Singergy Reigate choir is very welcoming and creates a warm and friendly environment.Come along one evening for a free trial, there is no pressure to join but once you try it you might not want to leave!
“I had been looking to join a choir for a while. But just like Goldilocks, couldn’t seem to get the right fit! Three years ago I joined the new Reigate Singergy and I knew straight away I had found the choir for me. A group of people who wanted to sing just for the sheer joy of it. We have a lot of fun too. Our leader, Lou, is so knowledgeable and I have learnt a lot about singing in a choir from her. I am buzzing on Thursday evenings when I get home.”
About Lou
With many years of experience behind her Lou brings her incredible talent for singing and musical arrangements to her role as choir leader for Reigate. With a musical ear that is second to none Lou has the ability to get the best sound out of group of people, even if she will make you do mind boggling warm ups! Her vibrant personality and warmth bring fun and energy to the choir, as do her ever changing leggings!
